PPA Cluster Halut ingin Halut jadi Kabupaten Ramah anak

(SN-TOBELO) Untuk membahas tantangan tantangan serta kendala dalam penanganan kasus kekerasan anak khususnya dalam lingkungan Pusat Pengembangan Anak (PPA) di 12 PPA se Halmahera utara, maka bertempat di PPA Sinar Kasih Desa Ruko Senin (15/4) dilakukan rapat terbatas antara Kordinator dan Staf Perlindungan Anak (SPA) dengan Direktur Lembaga Bantuan Hukum (LBH) Rakyat Halut Advokad Egbert Hoata SH.

Selain membahas kendala dan tantangan, pertemuan 7 jam ini juga membahas strategi penanganan sejumlah kasus kekerasan pada anak yang selama ini dialami oleh ke 12 PPA se Cluster Halut.

Hergung Kadarman, PF PPA Cluster Halut yang memimpin rapat tersebut didampingi Egbert Hoata menjelaskan tentang komitmen PPA sevagai wadah milik Gereja yang sangat konsen dalam perlindungan anak di Halut.

“PPA sangat peduli terhadap perlindungan anak yang mengalami kekerasan. Olehnya itu kami sangat berterima kasih untuk kerjasama dengan LBH Rakyat Halut selama satu tahun ini dalam penanganan anak anak PPA yang menjadi korban kekerasan” kata Hergung saat membuka acara.

Setelah itu, para Kordinator dan staf SPA dari ke 12 PPA diberikan kesempatan untuk memaparkan sejumlah kasus kekerasan anak  yang dialami untuk dibahas dan didiskusikan bersama.

Egbert Hoata SH dalam pertemuan tersebut memaparkan sejumlah kendala yang dihadapi LBH Rakyat Halut khususnya dalam penanganan kasus di Polisi, Kejaksaan dan sampai di persidangan di Pengadilan. Diantaranya terbatasnya sumber daya yang bisa selalu mengawal kasus ini dari awal sampai pada putusan pengadilan.

“Walau demikian, kami LBH Rakyat Halut tetap konsisten untuk berjuang bersama dengan PPA se Cluster Halut dalam mengurangi angka kekerasan pada anak. Bila perlu kami ingin menghentikannya” kata Egbert Hoata.

Ia sangat optimistis dan mendukung upaya ke 12 PPA seCluster Halut dengan sekitar 3000 an anak yang dibina ini untuk menjadikan Kabupaten Halut ke depan sebagai Kabupaten ramah anak.

Dalam pertemuan ini disepakati juga sejumlah agenda kerja ke depan yang akan dilakukan bersama oleh ke 12 PPA se Halut dengan LBH Rakyat Halut. Seperti akan dibuat sosialisasi khusus UU Perlindungan anak untuk para Kepala Sekolah dan Guru, Kepala desa dan perangkat desa serta untuk para Majelis Gereja.

Juga disepakati dan dibentuk panitia Hari Anak Nasional PPA SeCluster Halut yang akan dirayakan dalam bentuk kampanye anti kekerasan anak yang melibatkan 3000 anak PPA dan pucuk pimpinan Forkopinda Halut. Acara tersebut akan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pembacaan deklarasi tolak kekerasan pada anak dan penandatanganan prasasti sebagai simbolnya.

Disepakati juga bahwa pada bulan Oktober 2019 nanti, dengan difasilitasi oleh LBH Rakyat Halut dan Kanwil Kemenkumham Malut, ke 12 PPA ini akan mengadakan Workshop Paralegal untuk para kordinator dan staf SPA dalam rangka membekali mereka dengan kemampuan mediasi dan pengetahuan hukum.(jbg6)
